Two 30-Band Graphic EQs in One 19" Rackspace

The M-EQ 230™ offers two independent 30-band 1/3 octave graphic equalizers in a compact, single rack space package, yet costs less than many single-channel units. This precise EQ is engineered with proprietary Alesis technology that gives you more features and better audio performance than other similarly-priced units can provide. The M-EQ 230 is equipped with 1/4" and phono jacks to interface with a variety of systems. From tuning the monitors in your project studio to balancing the mix on a sound reinforcement system or even getting the most out of a home stereo setup, the M-EQ 230 is ready to work with you. Plus, its Auto Power Muting function protects your components from power on/off transients, and the In/Out switch allows you to easily compare your original signal to the equalized sound. For versatile, powerful and affordable EQ for live sound reinforcement or in your project studio, the M-EQ 230 is your best choice.

Condition:

This unit has been used for a variety of solutions throughout its time in my system. It sounds and works great ... 1/4s allow for easy insert use on FOH channels for kick, snare, bass and lead vocal. Imagine two 30 band EQ's in your effects rack to tweak up whatever input you need some more "umph" for ... Great for female singers so you can cut the crap out of 2k ... These units also served well handling monitor mixes ... Can handle 8 mixes in 4 rack spaces ... (if you have 4 of these) ... So, with all that in mind, the unit has been in and out of countless venues, but has always lived in a rack. There isn't even very much rack rash on it at all, it's just a little dusty and colored. This unit it looks as though someone tried to color in the white "Alesis M-EQ 230" ... It was scrubbed off to the best of my ability but some black still lingers ... To me, this unit is in great condition and I would probably pay $100 if I really wanted it and saw it on the used effects rack at the local music store. I would probably talk the guy down a bit because of the marker ... hehe ... Comes with the power supply. I have two of these units for sale, I am calling this one the "B" unit.
